YOUR FIRST SOCIAL EVENT! We have all been in the same situation at one time or another and making the step to your first social event may not be easy but once you are there you will find everyone is friendly and welcoming and on most cases there will be a host to introduce you to everyone. How do I start? Choose the social event that you would like to attend, RSVP that you are coming and say hello to fellow Brighton Socialisers on the wall to introduce yourself. What do I do once I arrive? Just be yourself, friendly and non judgmental. There will be others there that may also be new so please treat others how you would like them to treat you. What if there are costs involved? Most of our socials are free, however where costs may occur like for a meal, bowling or cinema for instance then then you just pay for yourself at the event. We may have some discounts in place so be sure to ask your host. Can I go to any event? Yes you may attend any event and as many social events as you wish ;). What if someone is rude to me? We take rudeness seriously and will ban people from the network who do not treat others with respect. Please email info@BrightonSocialising.com
